The year 2022 has been a wild ride for so many reasons, including the start of my MBA dream. I was overwhelmed when I first embarked on this journey, feeling like shortlisting schools and navigating the application process would take me forever, especially as an indecisive Libran đ (and I couldn’t afford to waste any time). So, I turned to my professional network for help in finding an MBA consultant. I spoke to a few, but when I spoke to Arvind from Dream School Admit (DSA), I instantly felt a strong positive vibe that words can’t even express.
Arvind suggested we take baby steps and start by focusing on getting a solid GRE/GMAT score. Despite my best efforts, my GRE preparation was hindered by my heavy workload and personal events, and I ended up with a disappointing score. Feeling disheartened, I called Arvind with no time for another attempt and not wanting to wait another year. But he was both encouraging and pragmatic, suggesting we explore schools that offer GMAT/GRE waivers.
With his keen eye for detail and strategic approach, Arvind helped me uncover hidden treasures within my professional and personal experiences, allowing me to craft a compelling application that highlighted my unique qualities and positioned me as a strong candidate.
Arvind was always there to address my questions and concerns, providing thorough feedback on my essays, resume, and interview preparation, which played a pivotal role in shaping my application. I remember having my first mock interview with Arvind at 10 pm, laughing about the silly things I said during the mock interview that I promised not to repeat during the actual interview :D. Trust me when I say this, Arvind’s mock interviews almost magically fade away all your nervousness for the final interview.
I am truly grateful to Arvind for his unwavering guidance, which resulted in my admission to three business schools with scholarships: George Washington University (USD 60k), the University of California at Davis (USD 50k+ GA position), and Babson College (USD 30k).
I can wholeheartedly vouch for Arvind from DSA. No matter how many schools you choose to apply to, you can expect the same level of dedicated service. During my research on consultants, I spoke with others who had worked with Arvind before, and I realized that he treats each candidate with the same level of attention and care, ensuring that their MBA application receives the utmost focus and effort to help them succeed.
First of all a big thank you to Dream School Admit for all your guidance through the application process. Rotman is a dream come true and Arvind definitely have been a great mentor here. SO BIG THANKYOU!
Rotman was my prime preference and getting through it is a dream come true. All through my applications journey, Arvind, from Dream School Admit, had been a constant source of motivation. He is a great mentor, with all his knowledge on the top b-schools, always ready-to-guide attitude and never giving up on seamlessly solving my endless queries.
I started my journey almost a year back with zero prior knowledge on ideal applications essays and, with Arvindâs guidance I felt all the more confident of the stories I had to present. The result â 100% interview invitation from top b-schools despite a sub-700 GMAT score. He not only helped me present my stories better and choose the best examples, but also guided me through the interview process conducting mock interviews till the time I was super confident of appearing for the interview.
Dream School Admit earns my highest recommendation especially because of the teamâs commitment towards helping me achieve my goal. Â
After my very first call with Arvind at Dream School Admit, I was convinced that I wanted to work with him to guide me with my school applications. During our first call he was really enthusiastic about getting to know me and gave me the confidence that by putting in the time and effort I can get into a school of my choice with my profile. One of the things I admire about him is that he is very invested in the applicant and he took great interest in knowing you and your story. Another thing I like is that he is very approachable and you can ask him any doubts no matter how silly the question might seem to you. You can literally call him up at anytime of the day for his help.Â
He has a remarkable understanding of the admissions process and guided me at every stage of the application process. Also, be prepared to get your initial drafts challenged or even dismissed completely if he feels it is not up to the mark. This is for your own greater good as he has great insights on how to tell your story and he will push you to bring out the best in you. My mock interview experience with him was great. He prepares you to such an extent that the real one will seem easier and you will be much more relaxed and confident. Today, I consider him to be my friend more than anything else. I would highly recommend him. Thanks a lot for all the support, Arvind!!
It was my third GMAT attempt and I got the score of 650. I wasnât very confident of applying, but wanted to go ahead and apply as I knew I wonât be able to attempt GMAT once again. I knew I needed help and advice and I started searching for consultants. I came across many consultant companies on GMAT club. I read testimonials and started writing mails to them. I spoke to the representatives/owners of around 7 companies. Some of them were charging exorbitant fees and some were not willing to listen properly to my needs.
I wasnât convinced and my further search landed me on Quora. I got to read some interesting testimonials on Quora about Arvind of DreamSchooladmit and I thought of giving it a try. I contacted Arvind and the best thing about Arvind is that he first listened to my MBA needs. Before jumping into the prices and package, Arvind helped me craft the story. After we finalized the story, I decided to engage with him for the application and interview process.
Ranging from reviewing and editing my essays, resume, and even the guidance on video essays, every advice of his helped me not only in putting out the best possible version but also a great learning for me as I was getting to know more about myself in the process. Arvind reviewed my Resume 8 times to bring out the best Resume for Adcoms. Arvind had worked closely with Adcoms and so, he knew exactly what kind of questions can be asked. Once invited for interview, you canât afford to do a blunder in the interviews. Arvind made sure that I deliver best and after 4 mock interviews, I was able to answer any question confidently.
Having Arvind at my side throughout the application process was a confidence booster for me, as he didnât let me think down even once. He believed in my talent more than I did myself. This is my first testimonial for anyone and I strongly recommend Arvind Arun of DreamSchoolAdmit for the best possible help you can get in nominal prices. I got an offer from Schulich and awaiting from 1 more college.
When i started my MBA journey about a year back, i was very confused about opting for any consultation services primarily because of the exorbitant fees and the mixed reviews from prospective candidates. But in the midst of this chaos, I started my search online to drown away the noise and build a perspective of mine own. During this journey, i came across a plethora of consultancy firms and consultants, all promising results and admissions beyond your wildest imaginations. The catch however, the whooping consultation fees and the uncertainty associated with the admissions which can swing either ways.
Here is when i came across Arvind and Dream School Admit. I was instantly drawn to the unique business model of DSA, wherein it was a 50-50 payment model and you would pay the full amount only on confirmed admission. Of course while the fees is an important parameter to evaluate your options, it definitely is not the only parameter. Hence, i scheduled the free consultation session with Arvind, just like i had with several other firms. These consultations ranged from too complimentary to not believing in me at all, but none of them actually gave me the time to explain why the process of self finding is important except for Arvind. I had a phone call with Arvind and he genuinely cared about my path and the pragmatic steps i needed to take to achieve my goals. This impressed me and i decided to go ahead and work with him for my MBA admissions.
During our subsequent calls, Arvind not only helped me to prepare for the arduous journey of admissions, but also was keenly involved in finalising the schools fit for my profile and my GMAT score. We worked together and Arvind was a beacon of light for me every time i strayed into the unknown dark wilderness of the application process. All the resources Arvind gave me really directed me into forming a very strong narrative, which in retrospect i could not have done it without him guiding me through it. He was incredibly detail oriented, patient and kind throughout the whole process. Whatâs more is that he was a friend, a confidante and a valuable resource whom i could rely upon at anytime during the process. He was just as excited as me about submitting my applications and prepared me well for the interviews by conducting timely mocks and boosting me up during every debrief.
Thanks to his efforts, I now have an admit from IIM-A (PGPX) and IIM-B (EPGP). Hence, for those looking for guidance on whether you should engage in consulting, I strongly recommend to consider Arvind and DSA.
More than a mentor Arvind is a friend who guided me through all the stages with utmost sincerity and honesty. He brought in a lot of clarity and gave great insights on the mindsets of adcoms and was there round the clock.Â
Besides helping to zero in the schools to apply, something I was highly indecisive about, he encouraged me to consider schools that I genuinely thought were out of my reach. I had a great time working with him on all the applications.Â
Arvind really listens to your inputs and as you lay seemingly trivial points in front of him, he connects these scattered dots and creates a beautiful picture you couldnât see before, giving an impactful narrative to that same story.Â
I received an admit from Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) mainly due to the invaluable insights provided by him. It was an absolute delight to work with Arvind and I wholeheartedly recommend Dream School Admit to anyone looking to achieve his or her MBA dream.
I realised right after my GMAT that it was only half the battle won, a whole new challenge lied in front of me and I was clueless about the next steps. I found a helping friend in Arvind from Dream School Admit, who has been with me at each step. It has been an eventful journey right from choosing the target b schools, to finally making the cut at I.E Business School, my dream school. Arvind has been instrumental in bringing out the strengths in my CV and projecting them well to make my applications stand out.
