I spoke to half a dozen ‘accomplished’ MBA consultants before working with Arvind. Unlike other accomplished consultants who are opinionated and aggressive, Arvind truly gives space for the applicant to voice their opinion – which was the sole reason I decided to work with him. While working with him, the two things that impressed me the most – were the robust process and his focus on putting across YOUR unique story. While working with Arvind, I went through a process of rediscovering myself by constantly introspecting over and over again. This focus on deep introspection has helped me crystalize my goals and focus on my growth areas. Arvind always pushes the applicant to come out with the best unique experience to write the essays and doesn’t stop until BOTH are happy with the essay. I got into both the target schools that I applied to in 2022 R1 – INSEAD and ISB.
My MBA admissions journey started with quite an unpleasant experience with another consultant. With one bitter experience already behind me, this time around I ensured that I spoke to as many consultants as possible before deciding to onboard with another one. I spoke to at least 7-8 admissions consultants over a week and then decided to go ahead with Arvind. What made Arvind stand apart was how approachable and easy to talk to he was. He immediately made me feel at ease and gave me very clear and unbiased advice/thoughts on how to approach the entire admissions process. He also showed a lot of confidence in my profile and I immediately felt a boost to my own confidence level!! The first college I worked with Arvind was IMD Switzerland. In the essay writing stage, I was immensely impressed with his insights on what the admissions committee is looking for in a candidate and his ability to bring the essay story alive. The brainstorming discussions on the answers were amazing. He kept pushing me to think in the right direction and the final output was a 1000x better version of my initial draft. He was also extremely attentive to the minutest detail on every aspect of the application – from every CV point to LOR to even the right picture to upload on the college portal – he handheld me at every step. In the interview stage, he prepped me for every single question imaginable. I had numerous calls with him for getting the answers ready for the interview and he gave me invaluable advice at every step. He also proactively put me in touch with a few other candidates who had recently been through the process so that I could prepare myself in every way I can. I remember a night before the interview I was an absolute nervous wreck. I appreciate the fact that he spent almost an hour just giving me the confidence to sail through the next day. I didn’t just crack the interview but was awarded the Forte Women Scholarship – which is given to just 2 female candidates in the batch. I completely owe that to Arvind and couldn’t have done it without him. Thank you once again, Arvind 😊
“Saurav, I’m not confident of the chances at School X. We can take a look at School Y. However, if you find someone who has confidence in School X, please go ahead. And see if School Y would have a similar effort. If so, with some guidance from the alums and research YOU would be able to complete the application, without needing my or anybody’s help”
Such a statement is music to the ears of a client. But, in this case, I wasn’t a client. I was treated as a mentee. And, this is Arvind’s forte. This raw honesty while being humble and gentle about my shortcomings, but in no way demanding me to dream less, was what significantly contributed to my decision of going with Arvind. And, this decision came after speaking to Arvind on and off for almost 4 months while I was still working on my GMAT. All along, Arvind had the patience to guide me not just with insights on the admissions process but also motivated me on my GMAT journey. And, all of this was even before officially I signed up to be mentored by him on this process. I’ve heard that business Schools are life-changing. I may find out the same at the IESE Business School, having received admission from them. However, getting into one is also a very transformative process. We burn hours of prep on standardized tests while dealing with our daily lives and work. While keeping track of reality, the entire process challenges one to look at one’s skills, strengths, weaknesses (most importantly), and experiences across personal and professional settings. During this entire introspection, guidance that keeps one on track and saves one from spiral and spikes of low and overconfidence is quintessential. And, I found that guidance in Arvind’s methods and his style of engagement. It is this guidance that significantly contributed to bringing out the best of my introspection, resulting in admission to IESE Business School. Right from before the process until the very end of it, and most importantly, even beyond – Arvind has constantly guided me. He has a very clear understanding of the industry I belong to, the nuances of my profile, and my work experience. Most of all, he is open to suggestions and debates. Availability was never an issue. Arvind was a ping away or a call away. Now that I stand at the point of starting my dream business school, I can say that: Arvind made me
appreciate my story better. Arvind made me tell my story better.
The entire application process for B schools is quite an exhilarating roller coaster ride in itself. You are going through a vast range of emotions every day from excitement to uncertainty. I wanted to be certain that I had a rock-solid support system on this journey. After interacting with various consultants, I finally had a conversation with Arvind from Dream School Admit. Within a few minutes, his genuineness simply stood out during the talk. By the end of our discussion, I was convinced he would be the apt consultant to work with.
I spend alot of time researching before I pick any service. Same was the case when I was looking for a consultant for my MBA applications. I spent a month just speaking to various consultants, reading reviews and trying to gauge their method of working. Arvind has some amazing web presence with alot of terrific reviews, and speaking to him gave me the confidence that he’d be the right person to help me through this journey. Glad to say that was the right decision – He’s been super helpful every step of the way. Even though his services and payments are purely selection based, he encouraged me to apply only to top schools, in spite of their low acceptance rates. The application process in itself was very structured and organized. Arvind was patient throughout – we reached versions 9, 10 of some essays! He clearly has alot of experience with applications and knows exactly what the ad comm for each school is looking for. He was a big part of my admit. Thanks so very much, Arvind, you made a dream come true!
And to anyone reading this review – If you’re looking for a confirmed admit this admissions season, Arvind’s the guy for you!
I’d like to thank you for your extensive support in my pursuit of admission to a world-class class, global MBA program. I take this opportunity to let anyone who wants to embark on this journey work with Arvind, without hesitation. I distinctly remember the very first conversation we had, post rejections from a couple of B schools. I was disheartened since I practically thought I’d walk into these schools after a GMAT score of 720. The conversation not only gave me hope but also helped me understand how to leverage the strengths I had and minimize the weaknesses in my profile. At every stage, I always had the feeling that Arvind was equally invested in my dream of an MBA. I got into, not just one but three schools- IE Madrid, Mannheim Business School, and Copenhagen Business School. Post various discussions and deliberations, I’m now on course to pursue my MBA from Mannheim Business School, this fall. I thank Arvind and wish him and his team the best in the years to come.
I am dropping this note to you to thank you for all your help during my admission process for RSM. From the beginning, you were extremely structured to guide me through the process. You were not only patient with the iterations but also considerate to understand if there were any delays from my end. Throughout the process, you had a lot of confidence in me and my application, which in turn gave me the confidence to get past the various stages of the admissions process. Most consultants are not so involved in the process (my past experience with another consultant was not that great) and more often than not they demotivate students by saying that they are not good enough in one aspect or the other. Whereas, you are someone who motivates candidates by highlighting their strengths and making them harness and use those skills to the best of their abilities. The admission process is highly stressful and I am glad I had you to guide me through the process with so much enthusiasm and determination. Thanks for all your help again it could not have been possible without you!
After facing rejections from 6 European B-school applications for fall 2022, I was certain I would have to retake the GMAT and re-apply to business schools a year later. At this stage, I had an average GMAT score compared to my peer group and had lost all hope of getting into a reputable B-school. I approached Arvind to take his guidance and understand where I needed to strengthen my application when re-applying. Right from the first conversation, Arvind was quick to understand my situation and helped me develop a game plan. Instead of deferring applications to the following year, he suggested applying to a select few schools that judged candidates based on their overall contributions rather than just an exam score. He exuberates confidence and is excellent at identifying an applicant’s key strengths that can be highlighted during the application. Arvind’s biggest strength is his knowledge. He knows exactly what each business school is looking for and so tailors your profile toward their requirements. One of the schools he suggested was IE Business School in Madrid – a school that was already on my list, but I honestly thought was out of reach. Arvind seemed confident, and I decided to give it a go. Arvind provides excellent guidance on every stage of the application – he is extremely organized, thorough, and meticulous. He goes through several revisions to make edits and has a special way with words – each essay was worded and structured perfectly. Moreover, he goes above and beyond in training you for all sorts of interview questions in the mocks and this helps you be better prepared for an array of questions. Without a shadow of a doubt, Arvind’s inputs were critical in ensuring I got admission into a world-class B-school without having to retake the GMAT. I would highly recommend Arvind for your B-school applications – the sooner you approach him, the easier the application gets.
After my very first call with Arvind at Dream School Admit, I was convinced that I wanted to work with him to guide me with my school applications. During our first call he was really enthusiastic about getting to know me and gave me the confidence that by putting in the time and effort I can get into a school of my choice with my profile. One of the things I admire about him is that he is very invested in the applicant and he took great interest in knowing you and your story. Another thing I like is that he is very approachable and you can ask him any doubts no matter how silly the question might seem to you. You can literally call him up at anytime of the day for his help.
He has a remarkable understanding of the admissions process and guided me at every stage of the application process. Also, be prepared to get your initial drafts challenged or even dismissed completely if he feels it is not up to the mark. This is for your own greater good as he has great insights on how to tell your story and he will push you to bring out the best in you. My mock interview experience with him was great. He prepares you to such an extent that the real one will seem easier and you will be much more relaxed and confident. Today, I consider him to be my friend more than anything else. I would highly recommend him. Thanks a lot for all the support, Arvind!!
