Just wanted to share that I was accepted into Harvard Business School’s 2+2 program. Thank you to “Dream School Admit” for all the help in this process. I was not sure if I could get in with a 720 GMAT score but thanks to all your advice, we were able to put together a fantastic application.
Before I had come to you, I had applied to 3 other programs and had gotten a no from all of them. Although I thought I had a strong profile, I was beginning to have a lot of doubts. As I began my preparation to apply to my dream schools ie. Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan, I realized I needed guidance and help. I reached out to some counselors in India who were very uptight. They were unwilling to even get on a phone call to discuss how to work together and had a my way or the highway approach. Then, I was lucky to get in touch with Dream School Admit and I really liked how you got on a call with me immediately and helped me design a package to suit my needs. Working with you was a fantastic decision. Your quick responsiveness and direct feedback were absolutely crucial for my application. The multiple essay revisions and feedback allowed me to put together a cohesive narrative for my application. I was lucky to receive interview invites from my top two schools ie. MIT Sloan and Harvard Business School. Our mock interviews were awesome too and helped ease a lot of the tensions.
Thanks so much again and I’m glad I made the decision to work with Dream School Admit.
First of all – A huge thanks to Arvind from ‘Dream School Admit’ for being my biggest cheerleader. I am grateful to Arvind for believing in me even when no one else (including myself!) believed in my ability to crack the dream of HSW. Thanks to Arvind’s efforts and faith in my candidature, I got an admit from The Wharton School at a GMAT score of 720.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Arvind and it almost felt as though I were working with a close friend, right from the beginning. It’s incredible to see how collaborative the entire MBA application process has been and there’s no denying that Arvind is amongst the very few consultants out there who offer such a unique value. Arvind’s structured approach combined with the flexibility that he offers to individuals is perhaps Arvind and Dream School Admit’s biggest strength. Not to mention, the brainstorming sessions organized by Arvind were super helpful in preparing me for my applications and Wharton TBD.
Arvind’s nuanced and friendly approach to application pushed me into applying to schools which I would ordinarily consider out of my reach given my low GMAT score. Perhaps, it’s not a stretch to claim that Arvind is indeed a class apart from other consultants who refuse to even take a chance on worthy candidates in absence of a spectacular 750+ score. It was genuinely heartwarming to see how invested Arvind was in my success and believed in my story despite the odds. I would say that not only have I won a mentor for the rest of my life but also a dear friend who genuinely believes in my ability to succeed.
All this to say that if one is looking for a mentor and a friend to help them through the stress, and anxiety of MBA applications – there is perhaps, no one better than Arvind and Dream School Admit to rely on. I am in absolute awe of the professionalism and passion that Arvind displayed throughout the course of the MBA application process and I can absolutely admit that I wouldn’t even have applied or gotten admitted into Wharton (oh, what a dream!) without him!
A huge thank you to Arvind for everything and I hope he continues to be the light at the end of a dark tunnel for other MBA aspirants who are told that GMAT score is a make or break. There is so much more to an MBA application than that and my Wharton admit is a testament to Dream School Admit’s holistic focus in the MBA application process!
Applied in Fall 2020 cycle;
Admits: Stern ($60k Alumni Scholarship), Ross ($20k Scholarship), Yale (20k Dean’s Scholarship) & Kellogg;
I found out about Dream School admit and Arvind whilst browsing through GMAT club forums. I requested a free profile evaluation and Arvind called me back within 3 hours. It would be easy for me to write about the generic strengths of working with him but there are a few standout observations from my experience.
Firstly, Arvind is the most positive person I have met. Whilst applying for your MBA one learns that it’s a confidence game and it’s easy to lose confidence in your profile and your achievements when you see how long the odds are for the top universities. Multiple other counsellors had dismissed my profile but Arvind took the time to hear me out and believe in my story. He had the risk appetite to believe in me, even when I didn’t and it reflects in our college choices and our eventual success.
Secondly, the interview preparation is extremely thorough and effective. I had 4 interviews and converted all 4 interviews into admits. It was a lot more than just learning to speak, we created a strategy which was tailored specifically for every university.
Finally, Arvind is an extremely knowledgable and thoughtful mentor. Even beyond the specific aspects of the application, he advised me on career decisions for almost a year prior to the actual application. His approach to working on applications is methodical and structured. Despite the many anxiety induced conversations and LoR discussions, he provided clear and concise direction. I learned how to prepare an application on a fundamental level, and have used this experience in many other scenarios.
I would whole heartedly recommend working with Dream School Admit and guarantee the experience will leave you with a lot more than just an admit
I am writing to let you know that I have been accepted at Columbia and have chosen to attend Columbia Business School over NYU Stern. Thank you for helping me get into both of these schools. It has been a decade long dream for me to get into Columbia and I couldn’t have done it without you. This is a life-altering event and I owe it to your mentorship and guidance. Your knowledge of what Adcoms look for in a candidate and understanding of the admission process is second to none. Also, I really admire your work ethic. Given the time difference, I know it wasn’t easy picking up my calls at odd hours to discuss essay strategies and for the interview preparation.
Finally, I must say for what it’s worth, you’re a body of knowledge when it comes to MBA admissions and I consider myself very lucky to have worked with you. Thank you for believing in me throughout this process. I wish you much success and the next time we meet, dinner is on me
The MBA application process is immensely stressful and I absolutely cannot thank Arvind enough for guiding me through it.
I started off on this journey completely clueless about the finer aspects of things and Arvind helped bring it all to my attention. He has been so much more than merely an admissions consultant. Throughout this process he transitions into a friend and a mentor, churning out brilliant advice at crucial moments. His ability to weave together all the lose ends to create an airtight story is impeccable.
No matter what hour of the day, he is always available to cater to the silliest of queries and sudden panic attacks. He is also very prompt with his SOP/essay draft responses and very accommodating of all the back and forth the essay writing process entails.
The patience and commitment he demonstrates towards his students is what sets us up for success. He spent countless hours brainstorming on tailored unique stories for each of my colleges, to help bring out the best aspects of my profile and demonstrate good fit with each college.
Thanks to his ability to highlight the strengths of my profile, I was able to secure an interview invite at a stretch school like Wharton, something I couldn’t even have dreamed of.
His ideas and inputs during the interview preparation phase were unmatched. From helping me prepare for case studies to developing succinct yet effective answers for situational/behavioural questions, Arvind went the extra mile to help me actualise my goals.
His valuable insights at every juncture of this process have led me to obtain acceptances from 3 top tier schools out of the 5 schools I applied to – two of which are Ivy League Business Schools!!
I now have the good fortune of being able to choose between Yale SOM, Cornell Johnson and London Business School and I have no one but Arvind and Dream School Admit to thank for that!!
I wholeheartedly recommend Arvind and the Dream School Admit team to anyone who wants to pursue an MBA from a prominent university. You will receive unparalleled personalised attention that several other renown but commercial admissions consultants might not give you.
DSA and Arvind will most definitely not let you down.
The MBA application process is quite intimidating and I am extremely glad to have had Arvind’s help and guidance all along. When I initially reached out to Arvind from Dream School Admit, I was about 2 months away from the Round 1 MBA deadlines and was quite confused about how to tackle this massive MBA application task. However, Arvind was really patient and supported me at every step of the process while also instilling much more confidence in me and pushing me to do things I might not have done on my own. He encouraged me to retake the GMAT and my score climbed from 710 to 740, he also pushed me to be ambitious in deciding colleges and now I have admission offers from three really great colleges – UVA Darden (with scholarship), UCLA and NYU Stern. He also went out of his way to guide me with schools other than the ones we had decided on, and now I have admission offers from USC Marshall (with scholarship) and Georgetown McDonough (with scholarship).
I am really glad that I reached out to Arvind – he did a phenomenal job in preparing me and really getting me my “Dream School Admit”s. I really appreciate Arvind’s help and efforts throughout the journey, especially the dependability, turnaround time, his honesty and his ability to understand my profile and goals.
I came across Arvind Sir while browsing through GMAT club forums. What made him stand out was that he was keen on listening and understanding my story. Also, a lot of the other consultants that I talked to felt a little money-minded with their pricing policies having fixed number of essay revisions and extra costs for any additional revisions or phone calls required (especially near the deadlines), not the case with Dream School Admit.
Throughout the process, Arvind Sir has been a great mentor giving exceptional advice on how to approach essays for each college and then revising them, sometimes reaching 5-6 versions. The results speak for themselves as I got interview invites from 6 of the 7 universities that I applied to.
I was quite nervous when it came to interview preparation but Arvind Sir eased my anxiety and came up with plans on how to prepare for the interviews of each college. We held multiple mock interviews which allowed me to approach the interviews with confidence. I was able to secure admits from 4 schools (all with scholarships), including my dream school – UCLA Anderson (50k Scholarship).
I cannot thank Arvind Sir enough for his contribution and help. If you are looking for someone who will patiently listen to your story, take time to help you draft the best applications and then make sure you are thoroughly prepared for your interviews, I would strongly advise you to go with Arvind Sir.
I cannot thank enough Arvind for helping me sail through the application process. He has a great ability to understand the individuality of the students based on their personality and work experiences. Further based on a deep analysis he helps categorizing universities.
During the brainstorming sessions, he would listen to me very carefully and quickly understand what exactly I am aspiring for. I liked his honesty about which universities I should target and which ones are aspiring for me. Despite me not having a strong pedigree in undergraduate, Arvind did not underestimate me for applying and making a strong profile for Ivy league colleges. He helped me tailor my essays and statement of purposes for every university. Helped me with mock interviews and video essays. He would always talk and motivate me whenever I felt stressed or anxious during the application and interview process. I am really happy to report that I received admit from Cornell University. Arvind truly helped me to achieve my farfetched dream of getting into an Ivy League.
P.S Arvind you rock, man!!!
Arvind from Dream School Admit has a great understanding of what top Business schools look for in a candidate. He knows not only what strengths to highlight but also how to showcase your weaknesses as strengths. I talked to a number of consultants before deciding to go with Arvind. He motivates you to dream big and it’s fun discussing and crafting the whole B school application story with him. Arvind gave me confidence to keep my aspirations high and his tailored guidance and structured approach helped me to get an admit from NYU Stern and Kenan with $60K scholarship. Arvind is genuine, hard working and passionate about what he does and delivers upon what he says. Getting into top B schools is a life changing event, and Arvind surely has changed mine. I highly recommend Dream school admit and Arvind to anyone. And I’m grateful that I got to work with him.
With an average score of 710 and having a profile of an Indian IT male, I had pretty much given up hopes of getting into a good B-school. But that’s when I met Arvind from Dream school Admit . One of his greatest qualities is to instill back the lost confidence and being able to listen. He brings to the table, years of experience of working with MBA candidates. He has helped me in short listing schools, writing a clear and personalised goal statement, understanding what different b-schools look for in a candidate, helping write clear cut essays and cracking mock interviews. He has been a partner in my mba application journey and was always available whenever I reached out to him. Thanks to him, I have secured admits and from UT Mc Combs school of business with a scholarship of $50,000 and UNC Kenan-flagler with a scholarship of $1,00,000. I would highly recommend him to anyone starting his/her MBA application.
Arvind at Dream School Admit helped me from day one on my College Application. He really understood my priorities and helped me select the best Business Schools that were aligned with my Career and Financial need. He helped me understand each part of the application process and even allayed my fears about some weak points on my profile. He totally turned things around and managed to make those weak points add a diverse dynamic to my application. In addition, his essay edits were crucial in making Adcom understand what I wanted to convey about myself within the confines of word restriction. He was really interested in understanding my story and helped me write it in a convincing manner. That’s the reason I was able to get Interview calls from every school I applied to. Also for interview preps, the guidelines he gave was to the point and covered almost all of the things that was asked in the actual interview. The mocks he took really helped me understand of how to deliver all the things that I will be asked. All in all, Arvind has an insider’s perspective of what the Adcom wants from its incoming students and works with you to convey what needs to be said and how to be said such that the best picture is conveyed in Adcom’s mind about you. He takes interest in knowing you and takes personal pleasure in the success of his student and I think that’s the key difference that makes Arvind at Dream School Admit stand out.
I am really happy that I took help of Arvind for my applications and totally satisfied with what he delivered. And I am sure that with his work ethics, anyone who takes help from Arvind at Dream School Admit will find him do wonders for their application.
I worked with Arvind in 2017. The best part about working with Arvind was that he really believed in me. I was a candidate with at least 2 years less work experience than the average in the schools that I was applying to. I was advised by most counsellors to either wait a couple more years before applying, or to apply to schools outside the top 20 in USA. I did not want to do either of these things as I was sure that I was ready for the rigor of a MBA program. Arvind recognized the fact that not everyone has to be an average candidate according to the class profile of schools, and he helped me apply to the schools of my choice.
Right off the bat Arvind made it clear that this was about me telling my story, and things that were unique to me. He got me to document each and every aspect of my life so far, and reviewed everything. Then we together chose areas that we wished to highlight in the applications. He helped me form a story about where I am coming from and how that relates directly to my goals. He was always on hand to clarify any doubts that I have and to listen to me in case I just need someone to bounce ideas off of. We worked collaboratively and every application we worked on was unique to the college we were applying to. Arvind also helped me prepare for interviews to the schools that I had applied to.
Arvind was closely associated with the adcom at NTU, Singapore, where he did his MBA, and has keen insights into how adcoms think and operate. This was extremely helpful in the entire process. It was due to his advice and guidance that I managed to secure an admission to USC Marshall with $30,000 scholarship.
I wholeheartedly recommend Arvind to anyone looking to get into a Top B school anywhere in the world.
GMAT – 710
Converted Schools – Kelley (50% Scholarship), Mendoza (80% Scholarship), McDonough (No Scholarship), and Wisconsin (50% Scholarship)
I worked with Arvind from Dream School Admit in 2020-21. I reached out to him after facing a bad experience with an other admissions consulting organization. With an average GMAT score and time running out fast, I had zero hope of achieving my MBA dreams. But, looking back at the journey, I cannot believe the transition and the work that Arvind put in to help me reach my goals. I absolutely have no regrets with my decision.
Arvind is a seasoned professional who understands the MBA admissions environment very well! Right from the first introductory call, MBA goals discussions, essay reviews to interview preparations, Arvind guided me extremely well throughout the journey and was always available to answer my queries. He has the capability to keep everything crisp, simple, and straightforward. According to me, one of the key abilities that an MBA consultant must have is to put him/herself in the shoes of their client and understand the client’s career journey completely. Only then will they be able to help stitch a strong, consistent application, including the resume, essays, and interviews. I can strongly vouch for Arvind on this aspect and I believe that this is his strongest asset or his value differentiator.
If you are reading this testimonial unsure about the right admissions consultant to choose, I would, without any hesitance, ask you to have that first call with Arvind and the rest will fall in place. Don’t even have any second thoughts! Just go for it!
Generally, I do a lot of due diligence before taking any decision but pairing up with Dream School Admit is one of the quickest and best I have made. From the first time I spoke with Arvind he just knew what was needed and what has to
be done. When it is up to the analytical or technical part (writing essays, prepping up for the interviews, mocks, etc), he is very good and I knew it from the very beginning but what makes him very special is the relationship he bonds with his students. He was very encouraging form the beginning and always made sure that my morale never went down. He always felt that I had the right work experience and story and to be honest it was Arvind who instilled confidence in me at every point and got me going. He was more like a friend, who I could ring at any point of time and regarding anything.
I don’t think I would have achieved what I have without the support from Arvind.
Results till now:
Broad- Admit with ~85% scholarship
Fisher- Admit; Scholarship yet to be announced.
If I say that Arvind from Dream School Admit has been an integral part of the journey to my dream business school, it would still be an understatement. He was there with me from Day 1 and played different roles in the process:
Life coach & Career guidance: He helped me figure out what I could be good at based on my experience, past education, skill set and interests.
Preparation: He has provided great material to prepare for GRE and TOEFL(for no extra charge)! It’s great to see someone who’s so genuinely interested in you and want to see you succeed!
College selection and essays: He supported me in shortlisting business schools that would match my profile. He knows what part of our lives and stories would appeal to the adcomms. His attention to detail and knowledge of how adcomms work helped me make the cut.
Motivation: When I received a streak of rejects, my hope to make it to business school was dying! But, Arvind firmly believed and motivated me to keep going. He provided me with few options that I could select in case things don’t turn out as expected. He’s definitely a morale booster!
Interview: When I received an interview call from Simon, we had multiple rounds of mock interviews so that I can be confident on the D-day and answer questions with ease! 🙂
PS: He aims high; he wouldn’t let us settle for something which is just okay!! I applied to Simon in it’s 3rd round and still managed to get an admit with 50% scholarship. Undoubtedly, Arvind is someone who’s extremely passionate about making our dream school admit a reality! 🙂
Thank you, Arvind!!! 🙂
Admitted to MS in Business Analytics to Purdue University, Carlson School of Management and Schulich School of Business.
It was a great pleasure to work with Arvind during the application process. Since the beginning of the process, I was very apprehensive about my GMAT score as it was a little below the average. However, Arvind encouraged me to be ambitious and apply to the top programs for MSBA despite the low GMAT scores. The most important thing for the SOPs is not how good your profile is but how well you are able to narrate your story to the Adcom. This is something that Arvind focuses on a lot. He helped me draft the SOPs that portrayed my aptitude and attitude for the program that would completely resonate with the Adcom. I would highly recommend Arvind to all the aspirants looking to get into their dream program and dream school!
I met Arvind from Dream School Admit in 2019 and instantly felt like I had met an old friend. He is very approachable, fun and simultaneously extremely professional. I could tell from my first conversation with him that he is well versed with the field of higher education.
The most valuable take-away from my association with Arvind is his analysis of my potential. I was quite confused about what I should pursue, and Arvind, having keenly observed my personality, recommended best-suited career paths. Arvind is also very encouraging, which I believe is a vital attribute in an admission consultant, since the entire process can be very daunting. During parts of my application process when I felt demotivated due to certain aspects of my profile, he assured me of my candidacy, and this helped me return with renewed optimism. His wor k on essays is impeccable as well. He possesses the art of transforming one’s drafts into coherent, meaningful and impactful pieces. I was so proud of and confident about the essays that I turned in to the colleges, and still find myself returning to read them from time to time. I have no doubt in my mind that without Arvind’s involvement, I would not have attained the level of success that I have with admissions. With a GRE score of 322, I have currently received admits from HEC Montreal, University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and Washington University’s Olin Business School. Due to the way Arvind presented my profile, I was able to get a $100,000 and a $75,000 Dean’s scholarship from Mendoza and Olin respectively. I was also offered a Forté fellowship in both these colleges. Arvind is always available and makes one feel like they are receiving undivided attention. His work is personal, and he is deeply invested in his clients’ success. He is a mentor for life and an association I hope to maintain well into my career. I highly recommend Dream School Admit.
In November 2018, I decided to apply for a Masters in Finance program at top schools in the US and Europe. Knowing that I had already missed round 1 deadline, I had to hit the ground running right away in order to meet the round 2 deadline. Though I had appeared for the GMAT and the TOEFL a year earlier, there was still a ton load of work to be done before I hit the ‘Submit your Application’ button. I didn’t have the schools finalized yet. It was then that I decided to take help of a good and experienced consultant. After interacting with over a dozen consultants, I finalized Dream School Admit. Arvind from Dream School Admit understood my requirements and my profile intuitively. His guidance before, during and even post the application process has been invaluable. He helps with the entire application process, from school selection, essay and resume editing to interview preparation. What makes him stand out is that he’s extremely approachable and he genuinely cares about his students. If you’re faced with a crisis, just pick up the phone and give him a call, unlike the other consultants out there with whom you need to make a prior appointment just to say hello.
The application process is extremely taxing, especially if you have tight deadlines to meet. Arvind makes sure that you have the right spirit and attitude to keep on trudging with his continuous support and motivation. Our combined efforts paid off when I got an admit from Simon Business School, where the MSF program is a much sought after one. I was also awarded a 30% merit-based scholarship.
It’s been an amazing experience and Arvind has played a massive role in making my dream come true. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an MS or an MBA program, especially to someone who has taken a risk to venture off the path most traveled and has experimented with his/her career. There are very few consultants out there who understand the value of risk and experimentation.
Working with Arvind was a rewarding experience for me. I truly appreciate his invaluable tips and edits to tailor and communicate my story effectively and making the application process painless.
Arvind helped me identify my strengths and put them all together in thoughtful essays that accurately reflected my personality. Interactions with him were honest and engaging through the application process. Mocks were valuable and helped me receive the critical feedback before the interview. His knowledge of MBA programs, feedback and guidance have helped me get admission to McCombs.
I strongly recommend Dream School Admit if you are considering applying for MBA programs and need a coach to guide through the process. Arvind takes a personal approach to understanding your needs. He’s really invested in your success. His knowledge of admissions coupled with focus on the individual enables a peerless experience and helps build a compelling story.
