It was my third GMAT attempt and I got the score of 650. I wasn’t very confident of applying, but wanted to go ahead and apply as I knew I won’t be able to attempt GMAT once again. I knew I needed help and advice and I started searching for consultants. I came across many consultant companies on GMAT club. I read testimonials and started writing mails to them. Arvind never tried to change or influence my decision, I choose my college and he gave his suggestions, but it was always my decision to go to the college. Having an Indian IT male profile, with an average GMAT score of 690, I was always at a disadvantage. Working with Arvind was probably the most crucial part of my MBA journey as I feel as if I didn’t have enough exposure back then.
Before I get into a few very important takeaways from working with him, I should let the readers know what I found most valuable qualities of Arvind: adding value to the information set of the applicant, and ensuring to keep the application genuine, rather than polishing the experience one might not be able to sell during interviews.
Before I made my financial commitment to his counseling services, Arvind had already provided me with so much valuable information over trial calls that I knew then and there that, I had landed the right place.
Now, it was the 9th of April when I started to work with Arvind. 11th April was the deadline for the Ivey MBA program and by 11 am on the 11th, we had done our part. On 13th late evening, I received the interview offer and on 4th May, I received an admit at Western University with a significant scholarship. Around 48 hours only for the application process right from scratch! Everything was kept genuine and that really helped me during my interview and significantly added to my confidence.
He was available on calls, texts, video assessment interviews, for multiple mock interviews, and whenever I felt low or anxious. I can go on for a while regarding how he actually ensured I don’t overspend for his services, or how he managed to expand my network over LinkedIn for me to gain some insight about the Ivey MBA program, etc. but you get the idea.

I found about dream school admit through my individual research. I had contacted various consulting agencies and my initial conversation with Arvind got me sold to Dream School.
